March 11th, 2020
One of our area’s most beloved annual traditions, the Gaithersburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns for its 20th year at 10 a.m. March 14. The event includes Celtic dancers, bagpipe bands, clowns, firetrucks, mounted police officers, and much more. The parade usually for about two hours and is followed by live musical entertainment. It’s a favorite event for families and anyone who’s looking to celebrate the Irish culture, have some fun, and enjoy a taste of spring weather.
The parade takes place at the Rio Washingtonian Center, located at Rio Boulevard and Grand Corner Avenue. Free parking is available in three garages along Washingtonian Boulevard.
