Hit the Trails or the Lake at Black Hill Regional Park

If you're an avid hiker or mountain biker, you probably already know about Black Hill Regional Park. The sprawling 2,000-acre park boasts more than 20 miles of trails to explore. Some are smooth and paved while others are rocky dirt paths, so athletes of all ability levels can tackle the different trails.

You don't even need your own bike to foray into the part on two wheels. Stop and rent a bike at the Zagster Bikeshare kiosk in front of the visitor center and hit the open paths. You can also rent a kayak or canoe from Black Hill Boats and head out onto Little Seneca Lake for some fresh air. Spend a sunny afternoon playing on the volleyball courts, picnicking beneath the shade of a pavilion, or fishing at Black Hill Regional Park.
